Cam Sorenson, Founder & CEO

Cam brings more than 25 years of Human Resources leadership and business development experience. Most of this experience has been right here in northern Nevada with Starbucks and Intuit. As a former HR executive of 2 Fortune 100 Best Places to Work Cam has gained a deep understanding of employee engagement and high performing organizations. He has leveraged his expertise and passion to build organizations that have won Reno’s best place to work 3 years in a row! Cam has a passion for, and track record of, enabling business leaders and employees to bring their best to work in many different industries.  He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce, Concentration in Human Resources- University of Manitoba, Canada.

Cam is passionate about giving back to our community! He has been an active youth sports volunteer coach and board member for 12 years. He currently is a volunteer board member on 2 community nonprofit boards.  Cam is a founder and vice president of RenoIce.org, a nonprofit organization that is currently building a community ice arena in South Reno.

Kelly simants, SHRM-SCP, Consultant

Kelly Simants has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field.  Her clients comment that what sets her apart from others is her ability to drive change and move a business forward, while simultaneously taking great care of the people contributing to the business.  Her expertise lies in Training and Development, Talent Management, and Organizational Development.  Kelly's greatest strengths are her positive attitude, her results-oriented approach, and her entrepreneurial mindset.  Previously, she was the Vice President of Human Resources for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. She was also Director of HR for Starbucks, as well as working in leadership/HR Generalist roles for Accenture, WatchGuard Technologies, and HomeStreet Bank.  Kelly obtained her B.A., Business Administration (concentrations in HR and Marketing) from the University of Washington. Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time with her husband and two young boys, traveling, and playing tennis.

Kelly is also available for public speaking engagements, as she is passionate about educating organizations and HR professionals on topics such as: “How to Create & Deploy Flexible Work Options” and “Keeping the Heart in HR - Dealing with Loss & Grief in the Workplace”.

Erin Kaiser, Consultant

Erin Kaiser is a seasoned HR professional, with over 18 years of experience driving people operations, creating policies and procedures, navigating complex employee relations challenges, designing benefit plans, and mentoring managers on all things HR. One of her many superpowers is HR Systems Optimization, as she is an expert in guiding companies on how to assess, plan, and roll-out HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems. Erin is known for her savvy ability to quickly learn a business or industry, complete comprehensive HR audits, and map out a strategic plan to advise clients on how to prioritize and implement best-in-class HR programs. Previously, Erin served as Director of HR for Scout & Cellar, International Human Resources Manager for FXCM Global Services, as well as various HR Generalist and Benefits Manager roles for major companies. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University, and has been pursuing her own professional development ever since. Erin has a knack for building trust and rapport quickly with clients, vendors, and colleagues has a true passion for helping take individuals and companies to the next level.

 

Delilah Balatti, Consultant

As an accomplished Human Resources professional Delilah is deeply passionate about cultivating positive workplace cultures and optimizing people operations where both employees and organizations thrive.

From navigating intricacies of local government entities, optimizing people operations manufacturing or addressing workforce challenges and opportunities in the dynamic environments of oil & gas and construction, Delilah has consistently adopted strategies to meet the unique needs of diverse organizations.
